Moe Ismail is an Egyptian-Canadian stand-up comedian bringing new levels of energy, diversity, and most importantly, authenticity to the entertainment space. Immigrating to Canada when he was 9 years old, Moe has been a center-stage comedian for the past 13+ years and has built nationwide recognition as a touring headliner across Canada. In 2023, he was selected as one of Just For Laughs New Faces in Montreal, was chosen by the Canadian Academy of Film and Television to host the Prism Prize Awards and did a live taping for CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud. In 2022 he co-headlined Just For Laughs Toronto and was featured on CBC’s The National. Continuing his momentum into 2024, Moe will be featured on CBC’s New Wave of Standup and perform at the Halifax Comedy Festival.
