Ashwyn Singh Headlines: The Permanent Resident Tour

Ashwyn Singh (@ashwynsingh) is an Indian immigrant turned Canadian permanent resident, and he's been getting stuff off his chest ever since the PR card came in the mail. His brand of philosophically humorous commentary on family, society, and culture is entertaining for everyone, but his devilishly witty crowd work is what keeps people at the edge of their seats. Currently based in Toronto, Ashwyn has done over 50 shows; with appearances at Comedy Nest, Best of the Fest at the Burbank International Comedy Festival, and Absolute Comedy. He’s opened for Bassem Youssef, Daniel Fernandes, and Gianmarco Soresi. He also produces numerous shows and runs a regularly sold out “The Variety Hour Comedy Show” at Bar Cathedral in Toronto. This year he completed a packed tour of Ontario dates and an extremely successful run in Toronto. In the New Year, Ashwyn is embarking on a Canada-wide tour with his two openers; Raajiee Chelliah and Laura Laham. 

Raajiee Chelliah (@raaaaajieee) Raajiee is an up and coming comic based out of Montreal, QC. She just recorded for Just For Laughs this past summer and performed in Europe over the past few months.

Laura Laham (@lauralaham) Laura is a third culture Syrian American standup comedian who has performed all around the United States. Her comedy has been described as smart, silly, unique, and she often expresses witty takes on the first-gen experience, her former life as an engineer. and everyone's obsession with religion.
